Mayor Robert Snow

For over 24 years, I’ve proudly served Vermilion as a paramedic, starting in 2000 and later as a Town Councillor. My wife, son, and I moved here in 2002, and we’ve called Vermilion home ever since. My mom moved to Vermilion to be with us, and this town has become an integral part of our family’s life. As a paramedic, nonprofit CEO, and Councillor, I’ve worked alongside our community to bring real change. Some of the key areas include:
I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with local businesses, committees, and government leaders to make a real impact. I’m committed to listening, acting, and providing the leadership Vermilion deserves.

Councillor Justin Clark

I am a proud husband, father, volunteer, and business banking professional. Growing up across Alberta and northern Canada has given me a diverse background and perspective. Outside of family and work, I dedicate my time to serving local organizations such as the Vermilion Agricultural Society and Lions Club to help improve the community. My passions centre around serving others and fostering community growth. I strive to be known as open-minded, curious, and willing to listen to all perspectives. The values I uphold focus on family, teamwork, and leaving a positive legacy for the future of Vermilion.

Councillor Paul Conlon

I graduated  high school at St. Jerome’s in 2013  and then went to school in Whitecourt to acquire my commercial helicopter license. I moved back and worked locally at RockSolid and then Pentacon. Currently I work at a large electrical company based in Edmonton. Since 2018 I have been a member of the Vermilion fire Department. I always try and be involved in any community event when I can, most notably the Vermilion fair. This community pulls together the best volunteers and always makes any event a success.
As many of you know, l have always been a strong advocate for ensuring your tax dollars are spent wisely and responsibly. Owning both a home and an apartment building in town, I understand firsthand the impact of taxation on residents and businesses alike.
I remain committed to being open and honest with anyone who wants to discuss community issues or share ideas — please don't hesitate to reach out anytime. Having lived in this area for 30 years and now raising my young family here, I'm proud to continue serving Vermilion as a strong voice for the community we all call home.

Councillor Bruce MacDuff

My wife, Marilyn, and I, along with our one year old son moved to Vermilion in March of 1977.  At that time I was employed by Farmstead Builders Ltd, a Butler building franchise out of Lloydminster. Our next two children were born in Vermilion.  We now have 10 grandchildren ranging from the ages of 6 to 25.
I joined the Kinsmen Club in late 1977 and served the community through this club until 1992.  I joined the Rotary Club in 1996 and am still an active member.
I obtained my Life Insurance license in 1988 and started MacDuff Financial Services in 1989. I received my Certified Financial Planner designation in 2001.  I sold my business in 2016 and continued to work for the purchaser, Hardy Financial Services until the end of 2019.  I am part owner in two commercial buildings on Vermilion’s main street and was Mayor of Vermilion from October 2013 to October 2017.
We are invested in Vermilion and want to keep it prosperous and growing and one of the best ways to accomplish that is to serve on council.

Councillor Kevin Martin

I am a husband to my wife, Leanne, and father to my son, Aiden. I grew up on a family farm outside the hamlet of Clandonald and have been part of this community from the county to the town. Currently, you can find me working at Webb’s Machinery. I first began serving my community by joining the fire department. After moving into town, I continued to help out in different ways — whether setting up or taking down chairs and tables or lending a hand wherever needed. I am proud to be part of our community because of the people, organizations, volunteers, and events that make Vermilion and area such a great place to live. I am always approachable to concerns and comments and want our community to grow and be the kind of town people are proud to call home. I’m very humbled to be back on Council to support our residents, businesses, and future.

Councillor Kellen Snelgrove

I’m honored to have been elected to serve on the Town of Vermilion Council. For those who don’t know me, I can most succinctly be described as a ditch digger with a master’s degree. I bring a grounded, common-sense perspective from years of hands-on work, along with the ability to navigate complex issues thanks to my education and years of experience on several boards of directors. Aside from a few years in Edmonton while attending university, I’ve lived my entire life in Vermilion. I continue to serve as a board member for local organizations including the Vermilion Credit Union, the Vermilion Agricultural Society, and the Vermilion Golf and Country Club. Since 2022, I’ve also represented rural voices on the board of Alberta Central (formerly Alberta Central Credit Union), advocating for the interests of smaller and rural credit unions. As your Councillor, I’m committed to rebuilding trust and credibility within our Town Council and working collaboratively to ensure Vermilion continues to thrive. I’m grateful for your confidence and look forward to serving our community.
