Fire Ban in effect for Vermilion

Effective immediately the Town of Vermilion is under a full fire ban. These fire bans prohibit the use of all wood, briquette and propane/natural gas fires, including those contained in designated fire facilities and portable fire pits. The Town of Vermilion will be starting the annual Spring Clean Up Program on May 6, 2013. Town crews wll be in your neighbourhood to pickup your unwanted household material. During this time, please place your unwanted items in the back alley or if you have roll out bins, please place your items in your front yard for pickup.

On May 7, 2013, Council for the Town of Vermilion gave second and final reading to the 2013 Tax Rate Bylaw which gives approval to the 2013 Operating and Capital Budget and the five year budget plan.
